Wyoming does not require specific continuing education (CE) hours for all license renewals. The number of CE hours needed can depend on recent practice hours.

Those with prescriptive authority must complete three (3) hours of CE on responsible prescribing of controlled substances or substance abuse treatment every two years.

DEA-registered practitioners must complete a one-time 8-hour training on treating opioid or other substance use disorders, including the use of FDA-approved drugs for treatment.
